Following my graduation from Colorado State University, I was a Social Media Intern with Chicago Fire FC, an Major League Soccer soccer team based in Chicago, Illinois. During my time with the organization I focused on TikTok, Instagram, and Instagram Reels.
During home matches, I was in charge of the Chicago Fire FC Instagram stories. I focusing on capturing content of fans, sponsored giveaways and in match video from field level such as goals and goalkeeper saves. My day-to-day responsibilities were posting content on the organizations Instagram and Twitter pages as well as providing assistance across the Marketing & Communications department.
I assisted with the tagging and uploading of training, match and community event photos to ensure the players had access to them. I also provided content ideas to further engage the fan base, assisted in the planning and execution of content, and assisted with the website and team app.
